Tricia Dietrich

“My passion is to go forth and inspire others to create more love and beauty for themselves.”

My passion is to go forth and inspire others to create more love and beauty for themselves. My work is based on a lifetime of learning and experience. My calling is to inspire transformation that helps you feel strong and whole. I do this by using creative techniques that are non-conventional and revolutionary.

Those who benefit from my offerings are curious and feel a yearning for something deep inside that they can't quite put their finger on. This yearning calls over and over in a variety of ways. Those who answer the call are committing to show up in a deeper way for themselves. They arrive with butterflies in their bellies. They are often surprised by the beauty and power of their own creations.

I host a variety of individual and group events both in-person and online. You don't have to be an artist to do this, it's not about painting something pretty. It's about you being ready to show up and put form and color to the language of your soul.

Are you ready?? Let's do this!

Tricia’s Artist Statement

I create art because I have to in order to be a healthy, whole person. Its as essential to my life as having regular bowel movements. When I am not expressing myself or being creative I feel stopped up, bloated, and a little bitchy.

My vision is to use intention to create beauty that illuminates the path of the soul and makes a stand for social justice.

My quest is to understand the stories that are living through me and create a life that is one of service and authenticity. I use a variety of tools strapped to my alchemical tool belt to pave the road of my journey. Paintbrushes, paint, glitter, and outlandish costumes are my favorites.

Each of my paintings begin with an energetic pull. This pull is often something I cannot ignore, yet may not fully understand. It usually coincides with a series of events happening in my life that generate inquiry.

Why do I feel this way? How can I cultivate more joy and connection in the world? Where are those lost pieces of me? What needs to be reclaimed? And what the hell did I do with my water bottle?

Nothing is planned or premeditated during the creative process. I choose colors based on my present feelings and intuition. Mindfulness is applied to each dot, each stroke. My story is incorporated into the painting as a series of abstract symbols, lines, and dots. My painting becomes a portal. My paintbrush becomes a magic wand.

Form emerges with a rhythmic series of brush strokes. In this process I feel free to do and be whomever I choose. In deepening the process, the energetic pull that brought me to the canvas begins to take form and inform me. I begin receiving information about how my painting wishes to reveal itself to the world. I trust and paint until the form reaches completion. In this process, wisdom is gained from places deep within my subconscious.

I sit with a pen and write. In this, I reclaim and acquaint myself with parts of me that have been lost in the darkness. That's how I do it.  And you can too!

I would love to journey through this magical process with you. Check out my offerings to see if anything calls to you.
